Aaron Tsang

Rev. Aaron Tsang serves as the Senior Pastor of Calvary Assembly of God in Honolulu. Born in Hong Kong, Pastor Aaron is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and has faithfully served in preaching, teaching, worship ministry, and Chinese ministry throughout his years of ministry.

In addition to his pastoral calling, Pastor Aaron holds a Doctorate in Linguistics from the University of Hawaiʻi. He enjoys using his gifts and passions both in ministry and everyday life, including playing music, singing, and cooking. He and his wife, Ellen, are blessed with two children, Nadan and Jakin.

“I would love to see people filling every chair in our sanctuary, worshipping Jesus together. I long to see the presence of God evident in every service at Calvary. (1) Besides being a pastor, Pastor Aaron would love to work at Disneyland one day, in any role!

Israel Nitta

Rev. Israel Nitta (Assistant Pastor of Next Generation Ministries) is a licensed minister and leads the Youth and A/V ministries. Born and raised in a Pentecostal family, Israel is a 4th generation Christian who has served three years as a church-planter in Brazil and has completed a Pastoral Leadership Program in Singapore. He is passionate about bringing people into authentic Christian living and a deeper appreciation of God's living Word. Israel enjoys reading, playing chess, and watching movies.

What would you like to see happen at Calvary?
I would love to see a greater culture of love for God and people cultivated by a passion for his Word and a faithfulness to his calling. I would love to see disciples of Jesus that train, form and commission other disciples of Jesus. I would love to see thriving churches planted where God is not known.

Tell us about your family.
I married my wife, Joanna, who I met in Singapore while attending a pastoral leadership program, in 2018. She is a joy-bringing and generous woman of God who loves children and has a heart for those disconnected from God.

Tell us two fun facts about yourself.
I fluently speak Portuguese and consider the bathroom the safest place in a house.

Dora Chee

Rev. Dora Chee is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and serves as the Missions Pastor at Calvary Assembly of God. A graduate of Pacific Rim Christian University in 2005, Pastor Dora is a courageous, compassionate, and dedicated evangelist with a deep passion for reaching people with the gospel.

For more than a decade, Pastor Dora has faithfully served on the mission field in Brazil, where she has planted multiple churches throughout the state of Ceará. God has also expanded her ministry opportunities to the nations of Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, and Brazil, allowing her to impact lives across South America. She is passionate about making disciples and values the opportunity to mentor, train, and walk alongside believers on a daily basis.

Pastor Dora is devoted to equipping and empowering the next generation of leaders, helping them discover God's purpose and fulfill His calling on their lives. She currently resides in Morrinhos, Ceará, Brazil, with her husband and their three children.

Pastor Dora is passionate about discipleship and leadership development. Her desire is to see believers grow in their faith, be equipped for ministry, and become effective leaders who will impact their communities and the nations for Christ.
