ASSEMBLIES OF GOD

Aloooooha Calvary Church Hawaii!!

"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." ~ Ephesians 3:20-21 NKJVIt seems like it was just yesterday that we were right there with you on the Calvary stage being prayed for with the original Timor teammates. Today, we have the privilege and honor of giving you a report from the field  We have been so blessed to be back in the island nation of Timor-Leste after 13 long years.

During the last four months, we have been able to restart the work in the Luro sub-district that was established by the FAOG & Calvary team back in 2007. We currently have Sunday services in two different villages (Ailafa and Afabubu) along with Sunday School lessons for the children. We have also built a rotation of two teams that go out twice a month and are praying to have a permanent leader/pastor there who can carry out full-time weekly Bible studies, evangelism as well as Sunday services. Praise God we have had much favor with the district's leadership and village chiefs, therefore, we have been given a location to have our future church services, ministry meetings as well as living quarters for the team. This next project will need some work for renovations so pray that God will provide and supply all our needs for this future church building.  We believe that the seeds that were sown many years ago by our missionaries and visiting teams have cultivated the land that now bears the fruits that are ready to be gathered.

On the national level, we have been blessed to network with many churches through the Love Timor network and God has given us the platform to train up the leadership of the local churches. This next year we are planning to open up a discipleship training center, House of Elisha, in the capital city of Dili. God has already worked in miraculous ways to provide a house property. This center will serve to train up and equip the next generation to reach the districts of Timor-Leste, the surrounding nations and beyond. Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support as together we bring in the harvest.

Obrigado and God bless.
