Missionaries who are also pastors of New Day International Church, declaring and demonstrating the Gospel in Almere, Netherlands.
OCTOBER 2025 UPDATE
Calvary Family, weāre privileged and grateful to be part of your missions family! This year has been one of God-ordained changes. We passed the torch for our international church ministries to young Dutch pastors, Sebastiaan and Priscilla Boonstra. We finished the repairs on the Bible study facility and facilitated the insurance refund from the power company for the āBig Steampipe Burst Incident.ā All the while, we were also serving INSPIRE Project, touching women worldwide. Now, we have transitioned to serving our Western Europe Area Director (WE-AD), Mark Good. In our new role, we will interface with missionary candidates through Europeās Pipeline, mentor approved missionaries as they prepare and launch, develop a central visa resource for the WE Area, and design and populate a master calendar to help our AD effectively track all approved ministry travel of all missionaries, associates, and teams in the region. Thanks for your faithful giving and prayers that keep us working hard for His Kingdom until Jesus comes. Everything is for the glory of His Name!

OCTOBER 2024 UPDATE:
Dear Calvary Family,
Ā
Thank you for sending us to Almere, Netherlands! Our city composed of 148 nations and 192 ethnicities is largely lost in the lie of secularism. In January, we began the year with a week of prayer and 3 months of services focused on personal and corporate revival. Some have answered the call to a deeper prayer life, and many are reading through the Bible with us this year, some for the first time. Weāve added a Friday ministry to youth in our Ministry Center located in the heart of Almere. Because Godās people here at New Day International Church have faithfully tithed, we were able to do a complete remodel of the facility (formerly an office), including a much-needed new roof, making it better suited for ministry purposes. Our kids ministry continues to have an impact on young families during the sermon portion of each service. We celebrated public professions of faith at our annual water baptismal service in July. Next year, we plan to help a sister from our fellowship launch an outreach in our neighboring city of Lelystad. Thanks for the difference your partnership is making on this dark continent of Europe!
Ā
Prayer requests:
Weāre involved in mentoring young missionaries, including a young family coming soon to the Netherlands. Please pray for open doors as they itinerate and firm footing on their respective fields.
Pray for more local followers of Jesus to mature and engage in discipleship ministries
Ā
We know the blessings of your conference will be felt around the world.
Ā
Because the God of Heaven deserves the praises of all people everywhere,

OCTOBER 2023 UPDATE:
Dear Calvary Hawaii,
Ā
Thank you for sending us to Almere, Netherlands, where folks have gathered from 148 nations and 192 ethnicities, mostly to work in nearby Amsterdam. Some come from nations where the Gospel cannot be freely preached. Your faithful partnership means we have the opportunity to reach internationals whom God has expressly brought here to be saved. Praise the Lord, New Day International Church is experiencing growth, so that we have just had to double the space we rent for Sunday worship!
Ā
Please pray for saints to mature and engage in discipleship ministries and for Maps Worker, Victoria Van de Kieft, hoping to join us for 8 months of ministry in January 2024.
Ā
May the Lord bless your annual emphasis with a great outpouring of the Spirit for international harvest!
Ā
John & Joy Sisk
