Missionary reaching Hawaii campuses with the Gospel of Jesus.

OCTOBER 2022 UPDATE:

Thank you Calvary Assembly of God for your generosity and partnership over the years. You’re making a difference in the lives of many as we reach one student at a time. It’s exciting to see our youth ministry expand- seeing our students discipled, growing deeper in their relationship with God and finding their identity in Christ. With this new school year, we’re seeing an influx of new middle school youth enfolding into our youth ministry and they’re inviting their friends! It’s a blessing to see our older youth welcome and befriending these young ones. Also, we’re seeing our high school students reaching their friends, most notably from Kalani and Kaiser High School. In this season, we’ve seen a movement of college students from UH Manoa and HPU being part of our church. We’re currently coming alongside them and building relationships with one another. It’s exciting to see our college students get planted in the house of the Lord- not just attending services, but growing in their faith through small groups and serving. To help stoke their fire for Christ, we’re bringing some of our college students to Florida in January 2023 to attend our North American Student Conference! We’re in faith that they will see the bigger picture of what God is doing in our campus ministries in the US and Canada and come back to Oahu with a fresh fire for Jesus and confidently and boldly share the good news of Jesus on their campuses as they begin the school year! We’re excited for the greater things that God will do going into the new year. Thank you so much for your partnership in seeing the next generation reached for Jesus!Together, we’re reaching the campus and reaching the world!Shaun

Our 2 prayer requests:

Please pray for our youth that they will have revelation of who Jesus is as their Lord and Savior and grow in relationship with Him. We're reaching new students from broken families, Jehovah Witness backgrounds, and non-religious upbringings, so they need God's truth and love to transform their mind. God is able!

Lastly, please pray that God will provide for our college students as they prepare their hearts to attend our ENC North American Student Conference in Florida in January of next year. Please pray that they will have fresh fire and come back to Hawaii with boldness and overflowing love for their friends and classmates.
